Pomodoro Pizzeria in Bristol

Do NOT get the pizza. The pasta dishes are awesome as is their gravy, but their pizzas are super doughy in the middle with a ton of grease and the crust tastes burnt. The pictures were taken about an hour after I purchased the pie.

Beautiful experience! Food was amazing staff was very accommodating! Pizza was hand down best I’ve ever had we got the classic Pomodoro so we could really taste the sauce and it was perfect! For dinner I had the veal parm and it didn’t disappoint and my husband had the Tuscan rabe special he could not stop raving about it. We where to fill for dessert so we took a few cannolis home and they where still nice a crispy even after having them sit in the fridge for a little. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or anyone visiting Bristol. Pomodoro is a must!

A no frills wonderful little restaurant. Like going to your grandmother's on a Sunday. Friendly ,warm staff who serves made to order dishes. Start with the mussels. You cant go wrong!

Delicious thin crust pizza with a tasty sauce.

I can't say enough about Pomodoro! Every entree is perfect and fresh. It's very small and cozy indoor with limited seating but worth it. In the summer you may sit outdoors and enjoy the weather and the fabulous food. It's BYOB as well.

Was in Bristol, RI for an AAU Basketball Tournament - this was our Family's favorite meal all weekend. Fantastic Italian food and Pizza. Excellent, friendly Service. Highly recommend their Chicken Parmigiana.

Love their pasta and meatballs. Cannolis were good too! All of the sauces I have tried there have been fabulous. Only downside is potential wait time given it's fairly small, make sure you call ahead to get your name on the list. Note: no alcohol served at the establishment, but you can bring your own wine in should you choose.

Pizza so good! BYOB. No dessert to speak of. Homestyle Italian food. Small and cozy atmosphere. They get BUSY so go at off-times to avoid a wait.

There was 3 of us. My pomodoro sauce and linguine was a little Bland. Needed a little more basil and maybe a sprig of Basil on top. The bread was terrible and the salad dressing was served in little plastic containers which wasn't very attractive.

Best food around, VERY small restaurant you may miss driving by in residential Bristol. Expect a short wait before seating.

Pomodoros is ALWAYS Great...chicken sorrentino is wonderful,chicken Milanese,chicken and eggplant Parmesan is delicious...anything on the menu is wonderful..

Cannot beat the great food, Byob, and friendly staff. Only downsides are limited street parking, long wait outside when they are busy, and noise level when there is a full house.

Excellent food! The waitress forgot one of my orders and I wasn't mad they forgot but more angry that I didn't get to eat it. The personal pizza is cooked fresh evertime🤤.

Busy, very alive with a helpful well trained staff. Good food, generous servings. Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and big daddy pizza were winners.

Great food but they are hard to get ahold of over the phone. I definitely suggest dining in vs taking out/delivery.

Awesome food in a causal environment. Calamari pizza, 1/2 of the Italian, and a meatball sandwich with the meatballs cut in half.

This place always has fantastic food. I have never been disappointed. They have dine-in and take-out options. It's really hard not to order the lasagna because it's so good. And the the pomodoro sauce is incomparably good.

Pomodoro's is this little restaurant hidden where you wouldn't expect it. I stopped there with a friend on a busy night and they were able to squeeze us in at a table. The food and service was amazing, I would love to go again soon. Also, if you are in a group larger than 4, best to order takeout since the restaurant is more catered to 1-4 peopled groups.

Found this place over 5 years ago. My mistake was telling other people about it. Now it's tough to get a table but worth the wait.
